Phillip joined Companion as our Practice Manager in March of 2022. His family is located in North Atlanta, Georgia where he calls home. Phillip earned his MBA in Healthcare Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. He is a AAHAM Board Member for Healthcare Management Finance. He is passionate about healthcare and animals, his favorite animal being the tiger. Phillip finds fulfillment applying his knowledge in relation to his two passions through his role here at Companion Animal Hospital and Boarding Center. At home he has a Pitbull named Howie. Howie is a tripod (three-legged) due to a leg injury he had at the time of adoption. When Phillip is not busy with practice operations he enjoys car racing, baseball, exercise, or feasting on a European breakfast, coffee included.
Fort Walton Beach has been home to Sierra since the age of two. She enjoys spending time with her human and animal family, getting creative, and gardening. Animals are an important part of her life, today she shares her home with cats, dogs, reptiles, aquatic creatures and a parrot. She worked providing animal care in marine park, pet store, and kennel settings prior to joining Companion in early 2014. Additional work experience for her includes customer service and many years in child care. Sierra is happy her animal passion landed her in veterinary medicine. Starting as a Kennel Technician and Receptionist, practice growth led to her role as Office Assistant, with the knowledge gained and many developed skills Sierra became our Office Manager. Client services, working to support the Companion team and the 'behind the scenes' tasks of her position she finds very fulfilling. Almost as satisfying as basking in the cuteness of all our patients.
