Tina has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2014. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University in 2008 and then returned to school in 2012 to earn her Veterinary Technology degree from St. Petersburg College in Tampa. She worked at Companion Animal Hospital from 2014 to 2016 before moving to Washington State to be closer to family. She recently moved back to the Fort Walton Beach area in July 2017 and promptly started working at Companion again. However, her heart belongs in the Fort Walton Beach/Niceville area and she plans to plant some roots and stay here long term. She has a special interest in anesthesia and surgery but loves all aspects of being a veterinary technician and is very grateful to Drs. Epperson and Hartley for giving her the opportunity to achieve her career goals and strengthen her skills at Companion Animal Hospital. Tina married her husband Josh in 2015. A native to the area, he shares in her love of animals and they have a very spoiled “only child”, Merlin, their white cat.
