Dr. Lauren Zachrich

Dr. Lauren Zachrich is a Michigan native who moved down to Florida with her family in the early 2000’s. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Central Florida and after working in human healthcare she realized her passion for science and healthcare extended to those with four legs, not just two.

In 2023 Dr. Zachrich graduated with her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Florida with a certificate in Shelter Medicine. Shortly after she moved to Fort Walton Beach Florida to pursue her career at Companion Animal Hospital. Her special interest include strengthening the human animal bond through education, feline medicine, and hopes to begin working on ultrasonography soon. She is an active member of the Florida AVMA and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

She has a calico cat named Finn and a patch tabby named Sophie who she loves to spend time with during her free time. Otherwise you can expect Dr. Zachrich to be spending time with friends and family, antiquing, or exploring the great outdoors
