Online pharmacies that offer pet medications cannot buy the medications directly from the drug companies, so they have to therefore get it from overstock. Overstock medications may not have been stored properly and therefore the product may be ineffective.

Also beware of drug counterfeiting. We have had several occasions of drugs appearing to be the same but the actual ingredients vary up to 25%… for example… Heartworm medication being only 75% of the drug…there is a 25% chance that the medication could not work and your dog would get heartworms. That is not a risk that we want to take!
